Welcome to Bridgeland News

Bridgeland News is the online news source for ten neighborhoods that span the river in southeast Minneapolis: Cedar-Riverside, Cooper, Downtown East, Longfellow, Marcy-Holmes, Nicollet Island/East Bank, Prospect Park, Seward, Southeast Como and University.

Bridgeland News started its life as the companion website to The Bridge newspaper, a monthly paper created in 2005 when the Seward Profile and Southeast Angle merged. The June 2009 issue is the paper’s last print edition; we’re packing up the presses and moving all of our news and information services online, to this website. Thanks for joining us!
