Next round of Central Corridor art meetings is May 12–18

Artist teams will present early design concepts and seek feedback from the public on art for each of the 15 Central Corridor light-rail transit (LRT) stations, beginning May 12.

Bridge-area station design meetings are:

Westgate, Fairview and Raymond stations
Tuesday, May 12, 6–8 p.m., at Goodwill Easter Seals, 553 Fairview Ave. N., in St. Paul. General public contact: Community Outreach Coordinator Rita Rodriguez, 651-602-1805.

East Bank and West Bank stations
Wednesday, May 13, 4–6 p.m., at Theatre in the Round, 245 Cedar Ave. General public contact: Community Outreach Coordinator Jessica Hill, 651-602-1840.

Stadium Village, 29th Ave. and Westgate stations
Monday, May 18, 4–7 p.m., at the Textile Center, 3000 University Ave. SE. General public contact: Community Outreach Coordinator Jessica Hill, 651-602-1840.

Artists Nancy Blum, Roberto Delgado, Seitu Jones, Janet Lofquist and the team of Andrea Myklebust and Stanton Sears will present their final designs over the summer to the Metropolitan Council, which “will have the final say,” according to a Metropolitan Council press release.
