This traveling film fest will stop off in Minneapolis mid-July with screenings and events at several Bridgeland venues. A prefestival photo exhibit opened June 28 and runs through July 13 at One-on-One Bike Studio, 117 Washington Ave. N. Correction: The July print version of The Bridge incorrectly listed this exhibit at Bedlam Theatre.
The festival itself kicks off July 9 at First Avenue.
On July 10, screenings begin at the Riverview Theater, 3800 42nd Ave. S., with an after-party that night at Pi, 2532 25th Ave. S., featuring DJ Blowtorch.
July 11 screenings take place at MacPhail Center for Music, 501 S. Second St., with an after-party at Bedlam Theatre at 10 p.m. featuring a “bike pile contest” and silent movies on the rooftop.
At 1 p.m. on July 12, teams of up to five riders may take part in a scavenger race beginning behind Varsity Bikes, 1306 SE Fourth St. Entry fee is $5.
July 12 screenings and closing party are at Theatre de la Jeune Lune and One On One Bike Studio, respectively, in the North Loop neighborhood.
